Our Injection Molding Capabilities for prototyping and low volume production
Prototype injection molds are also called prototype mold, rapid mold, rapid tooling, economical mold, fast mold etc., HWTC have more than 20 years in building the prototype injection mold, our prototype molding can meets different kinds of customer requirement including validating the new developed products or just small batch injection molding production.
Our Prototype molds can be divided into two types of mold base on different materials that used in mold making.
•Aluminum Molds: For cost advantage and fast delivery , sometimes, We make the aluminum mold for customer depending on customer request. The main advantage of using aluminum is it is fast to manufacture and more cost-effective than other materials. However, aluminum can deteriorate under extreme temperatures and the mold life is quite short than the steel mold. So It is not ideal for high-precision parts and larger volume production.
•Steel Molds: Some parts are too complex or precision to use the aluminum injection molds. Steel molds are more ideal but can easily meet the requirement of the tolerate of the complex parts. Steels molds are highly durable and can withstand high temperatures.
Any plastic materials can be used to produce by the steel mold.
